Cathy Shircliff

Board Member

Cathy Shircliff was an employee with St. Jude Medical Center for over 25 years as the Executive Director of Imaging, Non-Invasive Cardiology and Breast Services until her retirement in 2018. She oversaw the dramatic growth of programs and services, the continuous introduction of new technology, and numerous successful accreditation processes. Equally important, she created a culture of excellence and continuously invested in the growth and development of the caregivers within the departments. Throughout her time as an employee, Cathy supported multiple fundraising initiatives.

She has two daughters, four grandchildren and has been married to her husband, Skip, for more than 47 years.

What motivates your desire to give back?
Helping others will bring comfort and joy to anyone’s life.

What motivates your philanthropy?
I was a St. Jude caregiver for many years and saw directly how philanthropy helped St. Jude become one of the top medical centers in the nation. I wanted to join that community of supporters.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
It is my time to give back to the memorial foundation in a way that will help secure funding for technology that will benefit the physicians and patients who choose St. Jude for their care.
