What motivates your desire to give back?
I receive a lot of pleasure in giving back. My knowledge and ability to donate to the cause is very important to me.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
My husband Earl recently passed away. We were in the emergency room and as a patient more times than I can remember. Every time we were treated with empathy and kindness. The physical therapy group was especially understanding in helping my husband to learn to walk again.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
To Give Back in any way I could. I feel I can add value to the St. Jude Memorial Foundation board through my many years of experience and expertise volunteering and serving on numerous local non-profit boards.
